Knowledge - Can they provide guidance and assistance throughout a project. Do you feel confident after speaking with the consultant? Do they know about the staging industry and the resources available to them?
Professionalism - Their image is your image. Does the consultant leave the impression of not having the proper tools to market your property or are they well prepared?
Resources - Does your consultant have the resources available to them to hire sub-contractors, provide furniture rentals, home decor and accessories?
Price - price will vary; you must remember experience, knowledge, resources will affect the price when dealing with a professional service. Staging is no different than having your hair cut at the local barber or choosing to go to a salon. You get what you pay for.
